I designed and illustrated this poster earlier in the year but it didn't make the cut. (click here to see the poster that did!) So I've found another home for it on the blog. I looked to the Bauhaus movement for inspiration for this one. There are a lot of ways to interpret the lessons taught by the Bauhaus movement but personally, I like that it stood for a willingness to experiment, openness, a blurring of the lines between art and craftsmanship. The movement taught "truth to materials" which I thought was especially applicable to the Ludlites' shows, which are all about embracing the surprising results and imperfections of film.
